Alli's First Ponytail

Since my Auntie Tiffany said that she expected me to have a ponytail on Thanksgiving, my mom figured she'd better practice.
This is her first attempt.

Do you think it accentuates my cheekbones?

Mom, this is what I think of your efforts.

Look at me!  I'm sitting up all by myself!

Something tells me that my face shouldn't be this close to the floor when upright.

The duel.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!

Smiles and a Shout-Out

I just wanna send a shout-out to my favorite aunt, yo.
(Hmm, who could have possibly given me this onesie???)

A gummy giggle.

I suppose this dress is alright . . .

 . . . but I really love my shoes!

Our Four-Month-Old Meatball

Alli had her 4-month doctor's appointment this afternoon.  She's now 2 feet 1 inch tall (75th percentile) and weighs a whoppin' 17 pounds 3 ounces (off of the percentile charts)!  The pediatrician thought her thunder thighs were fabulous!

Our groggy chunky monkey in her chunky monkey jammies.

Alli's pediatrician was impressed at Alli's torso strength and how well she sat up by herself in my lap, so she's been granted doctorly permission to start eating cereal.  We tried some this evening.....

The stink-eye ~

Please, Mom and Dad, don't make me eat that again!  THIS is the stuff I like!

See?  Soooooooooo yummy.

Dad's really giving me the PS3 controller?  Are you sure?

This isn't so tough.

No, Uncle Chris, play that card.

Does this Bumbo chair make my butt look big?

Getting Bigger!

Almost 4 months old....

Go, Cubs!  (Well, next year.)

Daddy makes me smile every time!

I've given up fighting tummy time; it's not so bad anymore.

What do you mean I need to grow into my thighs?!?!

Blue eyes, for sure.

Happy Halloween!

I think the cheeks truly make the caterpillar costume.

Cousin Chase makes a mighty fine Nemo.

Help! I think Nemo is trying to eat me!!
