Introducing Avery Ann Hanson! She Came EARLY!

Little Miss Avery Ann decided bright and early Wednesday morning that she was not going to wait for Friday's induction date.  By 4 am, I was no longer able to sleep through the contractions, and we checked in to the hospital just before 7 am.  She arrived at 1:30 pm, all 6 pounds, 1 ounce of her at 18.5 inches long.  (I still find it hard to believe that she arrived 8 days before her due date entirely on her own, while her big sister refused to come out until she was 10 days overcooked.)  Avery is sweet and mellow, and we are all doing great!

Proud Mommy!

Proud Daddy!

Alli meets Avery... and isn't quite so sure, yet.

Proud Grandma!

Proud Grandma and Grandpa!

Proud (and emotional) Aunt Tiffany!

PLEASE TAKE ME HOME!!

We were almost afraid we couldn't get the car seat straps tight enough.  Weighing in at 5 lb 13 oz when we left the hospital, there wasn't a whole lot of Avery to strap in!

An anxious Auntie Laura and Tyler were waiting for us at the house!

Love at first sight!

Stay tuned for more photos to come!

Beach Fun, Friend Fun, Party Fun!

This will probably be our last post before Alli's little sister makes her scheduled debut on August 26th.  We can't wait to meet you, Avery Ann!

I'm finally brave enough to touch a crab!

And this one!

And this big guy, too!

Oh, no!  A strange boy is looking at me!

But he is kind of cute.

We went down to spend a couple of days with Auntie Laura, Tyler, my bff Julian, and their furbaby, Willy.
Hugs for my cutie-pie Julian!

Puuuuucker up!  No?

Oh, well, I'm over it.  Julian just doesn't know what he's missing out on yet!

Mmm... Auntie Laura spoiled us with powdered yumminess for breakfast!

There was no way Julian was going to risk any of his doughnut falling out by smiling. :)

We celebrated Chase's 4th birthday with an awesome party, complete with a piñata.  Apparently, piñatas aren't just for kids.

The cool kids table.

Boys will be boys!

Why does Landon keep offering me his frog?  I do not eat those.

Chase and Henry did a very thorough job of washing the Coupe.

Look out boys, it's my turn!

Landon, I warned you to look out!

Do these shades make my cheeks look big?

We love living here. :)

Two-Year Pictures

We can't believe how big our Alli-bug is getting!
