No Closer to Crawling...

...but Alli just figured out how to walk along furniture.  She's not very quick yet, but she rounded a corner of the coffee table on her first attempt at cruising.  Yep, it's just a matter of time before I'll have to chase her around the house.  She loves to "run" while holding onto our fingers, so I figure I'd better be ready when she takes off sprinting.

That's right, I can cruise now!

Okay, Mom, I already smiled.  No more pictures.

Really, I said that was enough.

Whoa, crazy lady, take it easy with the camera!

You're scaring me, Mom.  Enough!

Hugs for Cabo!

Bunny couldn't be more loved. :)

Teething much?

I am.  The first one should be popping through any month now....

More Bath Fun

Who needs a jetted tub when I have legs and feet?  Splashing is fun . . .

. . . right?

RIGHT!!!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Pause . . . strike a pose.

Gotta love the ducky.

Auntie Laura thinks my mom should put beads in my hair.

I don't think so, silly Auntie Laura!

All wiped out.

Too Busy to Take Pictures

I haven't been able to take many pictures of Alli during the past week because she spends every day using me so she can wander wherever her little heart desires.  You see, my fingers make perfect handle bars so Alli can roam ALL OVER the house ALL DAY LONG.  Toys?  Who needs toys when you have a sucker for a mom?!  Anyway, I no longer have a free hand to hold a camera.  Well, she was happily looking at some books for a few minutes today, so I thought I'd better grab the camera while I had a chance.  She made it quite clear to me that one photo was enough.

9 Month Stats

Let's face it, Alli has always been a little meatball and has the cheeks and thighs to prove it!  However, at her 9-month check-up on Tuesday, we learned that our meatball is stretching out into a sausage.  Instead of being above and beyond the percentile chart for her weight (like she has been since, oh, about seven months ago), she landed ON the chart at the 80th percentile!  WOOHOO!!  At 20 lb 13 oz, she gained a whoppin' pound and a half in the past three months.  Don't worry, she eats plenty; she just loves to cruise around the house ALL DAY LONG holding on to grown-up fingers.  Still topping the height charts, she grew more than two inches to reach 2 feet 5 inches tall.  (It sounds so much taller than 29 inches.)  Alli still isn't crawling, but she wants to be mobile so badly and gets really angry when she's stuck in one spot.  (And I mean really angry.)  I don't think teething is helping her attitude at all.  Of course, she's still fun and sweet, but she has definitely been asserting herself by showing off her moody side.

Of course, all moodiness is forgiven when looking at this picture.  :)

I will be posting Alli's 9-month photos soon.

A Day at the Park

We decided to venture out to Allen York Park on Lake Tapps on Saturday since it was almost 70 degrees.  Expecting a crowd, we were surprised to find it deserted.  Of course, it all made sense as soon as we stepped out of the car; it was just a tad windy....

Dad managed to sqeeze into the kiddy swing to take me for a ride.

Enough of that.  It's my turn!

This is great!

Vroom vroom!

No caption needed, right?

At the end of the day, wind is not my friend.

A Happy Easter!

Geez, I love the Easter Bunny!

Pop the cork!

My daytime Easter dress.

My evening Easter dress.  (A girl needs both, right?)

Just showing off my walking skills to Uncle Mark.

Arriving at Gma's for Easter dinner.

Yep, it's evident that Uncle BJ has no idea what to do with me.

Auntie Tiffany is making sure that everyone can read her sticker.

My grandma makes me smile!

We all love Cousin Chase's fashion sense!  Crazy kid!
