Great Strides, Alli's 4th Birthday, and Much, MUCH More!

I hope you have some time on your hands, because this blog update should be at least four separate posts!  It just goes to show how busy we have been this past month!

Our first Great Strides Walk in Tulalip was a HUGE success, thanks to our amazing family and friends!  The weather was beautiful, the company was amazing, and the support was heartfelt.  Avery's Army raised a grand total of $8,800!!  Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for donating to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!  We WILL find a cure, and we will keep fighting until we do!!!

Avery's Army is arriving!

The birthday girl!  Alli was REALLY looking forward to her party after the walk and was convinced that everyone was walking because it was her birthday. :)

 My big 4-year-old!

Grandma Annie and Grandpa are ready to march!

Erica and Gma are pumped and ready to go!

Happy Birthday, BJ!  Thank you for spending your birthday walking with us!  MJ, too!

Alli, Avery, and Julian are ready to kick some CF booty!

Julian and Auntie Laura are so excited to be here!

Tyler, too!  Such a beautiful family!

Gma, Jennifer, and Jake!  (Isn't Jennifer's baby bump adorable?)

Erica and Aunt Tiffany, bffs:)

Avery's Army!!  It's too bad the walkers on the ends were cut out of the picture. :(

Here we go!

3 miles?  Bring it on!

Gma and Grandma Annie win prizes for Most Inspirational Walkers!!

Tyler and Julian!

C'mon, we can do this!

Go, go, GO!!

BFFs:)

Aw.

More aw.

MJ and Mamo.

Mary (and her adorable baby bump), Tony, and sweet Mia!

Don't worry, we're almost done!

We did it, and we've worked up an appetite!  Time to chow on a barbecue lunch (or snack?) from Famous Dave's.

Jake and Jennifer!

Julian, child model.

The top three teams were called up to be recognized.  As of the time of the walk, Avery's Army was in second place for the Tulalip teams, by a mere $100!  (We have brought in more money since then, but official totals won't be calculated until the end of August.)  Again, we brought in an amazing $8,800!!  Not bad for first-timers!  The Tulalip committee has asked me to be a committee member.  I will be happy to help plan this event each year. :)

Time to relax after the walk.

All tuckered out.

No time for naps!  (Well, maybe a 20-minute nap on the way to Mamo and Papa's house.)  It's PARTY TIME!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALLI!

It's hard to believe she's 4, isn't it?

Landon, I don't know what you're holding, but you sure are cute!

Time to get our cake on!

Party hats for the kids, and Alli decorated her hat and Uncle BJ's birthday hat, too!

Uncle BJ, would you blow out the candles?

Alli, Chase, and Landon appear to doubt Uncle BJ's candle-blowing skills.

Finally, some food I LIKE!

Presents!

Avery and Aunt MJ.

Papa wrapped up the party with lawn mower rides!

Time for tea.

Slurp!

Silly Olivia!

Silly girls!

Silly Avery!

I must dress myself!  How many layers can I wear at once?

Our boat!

It may not be the biggest boat in the water...

... but it sure is fast!  (And great for crabbing!)

Mom, we got crab!!

Auntie Laura, you WILL eat my hair!!

Action shot at the park!

Burgers and milkshakes at Fidalgo Drive-In... yum!

So much fun with Auntie Laura and Julian!

It's time for silly faces!

Alli's new bike!

Julian, you are so good at riding yours!

Wait, I've got it!

Yep, I'm a big girl!

Where's Avery?

Here I am!

I love big Willy!

We love big Willy!

Did I say I love big Willy?

I do love him...

... so much!

Mike and Alli took Laura and Julian on the boat!

Such cuties!

See any fish?

These two kids get along so well!

Daddy and I took Uncle Mark, Chase, and Landon crabbing!  I'm a great driver!

We stopped off to explore Saddlebag Island while the crab pots soaked.

Now look who's driving?!

I'm just going to sit here and look cute while the boys prepare our crab for dinner.

Good idea!

Where's Avery?

Here I am!  (We play this game A LOT!)

What do you mean I get Alli's old helmet?

Oh, yeah?  I'm going to make her work.

Used helmet and tricycle?  Approved!

If only my legs were a bit longer....

What do you mean where are my teeth?

So what if I'm almost 2 and still missing half of them?  At least I'm cute!

Big bubbles!

Trying on Cinderella's glass slipper.  (Or Bearpunzel's shoe.)

I must be Cinderella!

A princess NEVER takes off her crown.

Never ever.

Running down the hill is so fun!

Singing princess songs.  Really.

The girls are sitting together?  Get camera ready... ALLI!  GET BACK HERE!

If Alli's not sitting, I'm not either!

Hee hee hee.

Uncle Tony came to visit from Hawaii, so we had a family get-together.

The Price Family - Uncle Tony, Dad, Uncle Chuck, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Mike, and Aunt Karen.  The Price Family all together = Priceless. :)

Four Generations - Gma, Mamo, Heidi, Alli, and Avery

Gma and her beloved Joey.

Such sweet(?) siblings.

Siblings and spouses.  Aw.

We surprised the girls with a day at Woodland Park Zoo!

The penguins were active little buggers!

Our tour guide.

Checking out the bear!

Dad, see??

Elephants!

This year Daddy got to hold the bird.

Wow.

He's so cute!

Dad, can we keep it?

Giraffe!  (The new baby was hiding in the barn.)

Please pause here a moment and just enjoy a nice picture of my girls together.  These moments are rarely captured in photos (as you may have well caught on to by now).

I found the flamingos!
I love flamingos!

Strange fog on the water.

Cabo came to visit!

I love Cabo!

I love him, too!

High five, Uncle Chris!

Uncle Chris is learning all about princess manners.

Making sure he doesn't skip any pages.

You're so funny, Uncle Chris!

The Sneeze.

The Sneeze, Again.

I'm thinking we're losing Alli here....

Aunt Emily's turn to read!
