An Accomplished Little Girl

At 17 months old, Alli amazes us every single day.  She can count from 1-12 (and from 1-15 when looking at the numbers).  She knows her colors, when to use "duck" versus "ducks," and more animals than you would imagine, including the rhinoceros, fox, and polar bear.  (Can you tell she loves books?)  Recently she's been correcting her own pronunciation; "tape" used to be "tate," and "yogies" is now "yogurt."  We're waiting for the day that she begins to correct us, for it's only a matter of time. :)  I mean, the crazy kid even holds a spoon properly!  We are in so much trouble when she's older!

I'm smarter that you think I am... and you should be worried!

My crazy pants make me craaaaaaazy!

'Tis the season... for static.

You're not touching my boots, do you hear me?

Ole'!

Have a safe and very Merry Christmas, everyone!

Happy Birthday, Cousin Landon!

Landon turned one on Tuesday!  Gma also celebrated her birthday, as well as Linda waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over in Sweden.  Happy Birthday, everyone!

He seemed to enjoyed his cake.

Ready for the rain!

My first complete tower!

Just a Few Recent Pictures

Mike's girls.

Sometimes peanut butter sandwiches are just too sticky.

My grandpa got me this piano.  I play it every single day.

I rock these keys!

Any requests?

I sing too!

Yep, I'm pretty good!

Take my word on it.

Piles, Piles, Piles

Piles are good.

You don't think my piles are weird, do you?

Caught, again!

Where's Waldo... er, Alli?

I may be good at making piles, but sometimes everything has its own place.

I found this bib in the clean laundry - SCORE!!  What other good stuff might I find in here?

The first tower I built all by myself!  (My mom came to see what I was up to because she thought I was being too quiet.)

Must you really take pictures of everything I do?
 My Thanksgiving dress!

Cousin Landon had his hair done for the occasion.

Cousin Chase was as crazy as always!

It was a good day!

Mind Like a Steel Trap

Every single day, we watch Alli learn more and more.  Not only does she know body parts and animals, but she now knows several colors, is interested in numbers, and asks what specific letters are.  Yes, she's also said her first cuss word.  (Hey, don't judge, it just slipped out!)  It's quite clear that she hears EVERYTHING and forgets NOTHING.

You may not think I'm listening, but I am!

I hear EVERYTHING you say!

And I forget NOTHING!

Uncle Chris is reading me one of my favorite books, Doggies, and this is what they look like.

Finger snapping is much harder than it looks.

That's okay.  Who needs to learn to snap their fingers when you look this cute?

Hugs, again!

I love to share EVERYTHING with my buddy . . .

 . . . even my crackers!

What do you mean Cabo isn't allowed to eat my crackers?

It just seems so unfair to eat these in front of him.

Sorry, Cabo, I know they look tasty.

Down, Cabo!  Now, hold these for me, will you?

Good boy, Cabo!

Just a Few to Get You By....

You can never have too many animals!

You don't have to sacrifice fashion for hard work.

Two is always better than one.

I love my great grandma!

Please, no more photographs.

Halloween Cheer

We spent Halloween in Spokane this year where we knew Alli's costume would truly be appreciated.

How do I look?

Daddy sure got into the spirit!

The pompoms are coming!  The pompoms are coming!

Why does Daddy want to torture me with these things?

Fine.  I'll hold ONE pompom.

I'm such a cute cheerleader!

Go ZAGS!

Time for a cheer!

This just seems so... basic.

Free stylin'!  Now THIS is what I'm talkin' about!

Even cheerleaders need to take a break.

Well, what are we waiting for?  There's a whole lot of candy out there with my name on it!
