A December of Firsts

At Avery's last appointment, we learned that a recent growth spurt placed her at the 75th percentile for length, up from the 50th percentile just the month before!  She's getting very strong, loves to "stand," and can now roll over from her tummy to her back.  Tummy time isn't as traumatic anymore, and it sure doesn't last as long.;)

Our tree is highly decorated about two feet above the ground. ;)

Our bundled little elf.

On our way to the Festival of Trees fundraising event.

The girls.

I like that yummy one!

The best part of the festival... coloring Frosty!

One sad little balding elf.

I love Aunt Tiffany!

When going outside in the dark, chilly night to stomp on circles cast from Christmas lights, one must wear the appropriate attire.

Santa and his newest elf.

And here is Santa's other elf in her picture with Santa.  Oh, that's right, this is as close as she would get to the man in the red suit.

The coolest... Christmas lights... EVER!

Okay, I decided to attempt another photo shoot with these models.  At first, it wasn't looking too promising...

...but *gasp* a decent picture surfaced!

I am quitting while I'm ahead! :)

"Look, Mom, a snowman!"

"Mom, can I hold Avery?"  OF COURSE!  (And yes, I had to take a gazillion pictures of this monumental moment... our biggest "first" of the month!)

So sweet.

Sweet smiles.

Holding hands.

Dance, dance, dance!

Uh oh.

Oh, no!

Just what shade of red would you call that?  Okay, okay, Avery, we're done!

I wrapped my present for Avery!

But she can't open it until Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!!

Little Miss Personality

Avery is three months old now and definitely not lacking in the personality department.  She smiles and giggles all the time and is a ham for the camera, unlike her sister who prefers to run from it now.

The camera loooooves me!

Hey, get back here!

The next Karate Kid.

Kickin' back.

Alli shared Bunny!

Hey, I get Jella (yes, Jella) Bean, too...

...and George and Monkey!

It's getting a bit crowded, don't you think?

Crazy hair!

A contagious smile!

I love Julian!

And Julian loves me!

Julian, you are such a good listener!

I thank you with a kiss!

Mom, stop squishing me!

Best friends.

Where am I?

Here I am!

REALLY crazy hair!  It's that static time of year!

Playing on Auntie Laura's REAL piano!

Alli insists on pointing out every letter she sees. :)

Pianists at work.

On Thanksgiving, I thought it would be cute to get a picture of the girls.  My goal was to get a "good" picture of the two.  I can't say I captured that moment.

Take one:  "Good Luck, Mom"

Take two:  "The Sneeze"

Take three:  "Thank You, Avery, and Really, Alli?"

Take four:  "Oh, Come On!"

Take five:  "A Glimmer of Hope?"

Take six:  "I Give Up"

I used to fit in this carseat!

Sweet Landon loves me!

A random picture proving that BJ was at a family event! :)

Jennifer and Landon - so sweet!

Thanksgiving wouldn't be a holiday without CUPCAKES!  (Thank you, Aunt Linda!)

Blue eyes!

Clean and happy!

I am a rock star, I got my rock moves....

That's right, ANOTHER CUPCAKE!

Again, thank you, Aunt Linda!

I love my gym!

Our first Anacortes rainbow!
