We are FINALLY posting Alli's "official" 3-year photos!  Since it's very difficult to get a genuine smile out of her when she sees the camera, it took us a few takes to get some good ones. :)

 

 

Another Birthday, Whales, Sand, and a Wedding

It looks like our summer is officially coming to a close, and I'm finally getting caught up on our blog. :)  We've all spent the last week (or two, if you're talking about me,) sick, so it's nice to start feeling alive again.  Alli missed her very first week of preschool because of this nasty bug, but she is roaring and ready to go this week!  (You know to expect those pictures soon. :)  In the meantime, enjoy the pictures of the end of our summer.

Mike and I took a day to be tourists in our own town; we went on a whale watching boat!  We very easily could have been the youngest people aboard, but the sights were worth it.  We got a fantastic tour of the San Juans on our route to track down some transient orcas, which included one of the biggest they've seen!

We even got to see our house!

Cousin Jennifer and Jake got married on September 8th, and Alli was their flower girl!  Unfortunately, it was that morning that Alli woke up with the nasty bug I had and felt completely miserable. :(  We made it to the wedding, but it was a bit rough.

We loved seeing the Congers, too!  It's been waaaaaaaaaay too long!  And it was so nice to meet Alisa and the kids!  Jessie, are you hiding?
