Aloha!

Mike and I spent a relaxing week in Hawaii this month - without children! *gasp*  We went to Pearl Harbor, went snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, drove up to the North Shore and watched a surfing competition... shall I go on?  It was WONDERFUL!!  And it sounds like Alli and Avery took great care of Grandma Annie and Grandpa!  (Thank you very much, you two!)

 Pearl Harbor.

The Arizona Memorial

A rainbow emerged while on the memorial.  We had to take advantage!  (This was our only non-self-portrait picture the entire trip.)

Sunset from Waikiki Beach.

Happy Valentine's Day!  This was the only photo we took that day; we remembered to bring our camera, but failed to remember the battery in the charger - oops.

The surf at Sunset Beach.

The Bonzai Pipeline on the North Shore.  As it turned out, it was the first day of a surfing competition.

Turtle Beach.  This was the shot that doused our camera in salt water - oops.  (Mike's fault, this time!)

This sunbather is the same age as Mike!

Just a short walk down the beach, we met another sleepy sunbather.

Our final night in Hawaii, and it's the best sunset we've seen out of our three trips to the islands.  Of course, we weren't on the beach, but took this photo from Ala Moana shopping center instead, across a parking lot.  Oh, well.  It's still pretty. :)

Okay, okay, enough pictures of us; now onto the pictures you really  want to see! ;)

Mommy and Daddy brought me home this sweet guitar!!!

What's a cello?

"Avery, this is a picture of Daddy and Alli, see?"

Six months old and already showing her sass.

One hungry bunny!

This girl is always smiling!

I smile, too!

Daddy did my hair.

And he's quite proud of it!

Then he tweaked it.  Now I look like the princess from The Neverending Story.  Hey, at least I look like a princess!

Daddy, I want you to play in my kitchen.  (I wonder how many times a day she actually says this?  It's quite often.)

Smiling, again!

And again.

And again.

Yep, again!

You want me to sing my new song?  The one I made up?

Okay, if you insist!

Twinkle, twinkle little Mama.
How I wonder what Mama is?
Up above the world so Mama,
Like a diamond Mama is.  (The best line EVER!!)
Twinkle, twinkle little Mama.
How I wonder what Mama is?

We just have to end with one more smile!
